Why quizzes
I have hosted quizzes for years - for friends, at gatherings and in the training sessions I run. Hosting is the fun part. Writing fresh, checked questions every week is the chore. Every product here came out of that chore.
The studio
One person, one workshop.
RunRiva is a one-person product studio in Poland. Everything on this site was designed, written and shipped by Maciej Dzierżek.
The engine room
There is one pool of questions underneath, and it is the thing that actually takes work: deduplicating, calibrating difficulty, keeping attribution attached, versioning changes. Three products come out of that one pool because building, playing and hosting need the same supply in three different shapes.
What one person means in practice
No team, no investors, no roadmap written to impress anyone. It also means the person who wrote the code answers the email. Two business days, usually.
